come on, make a difference...

let's just talk about this for a minute.

so i have this friend. she is awesome. her name is sam. and she has cystic fibrosis (aka: cf). if you haven't heard much about this disease before, it is very difficult to live with. it effects your life in every way from you diet (helloooo i'm a dietitian [in training]) to your family/lifestyle, to your breathing, to...well like i said, everything.

sam is one of three of the girls in her family who deals with cf. her sister is currently in seattle awaiting a double lung transplant...and thus a chance for a "new beginning".  there is a cf walk in boise on june 2, 2012 and it would be so amazing if you are in boise and could sign up to participate. it's a simple thing that can make a huge difference. just follow the link here...

it's as simple as that. just do it.

it's about dang time.

...for me to graduate...

4 schools. 5 apartments. 27 roommates. 3 majors. and about a million mid-life college crises later, i'm actually graduating.

it's been a crazy experience and i've actually been slightly much more nostalgic than i anticipated i would be. here is a glimpse of the last few days of my college experience...

last day of class with these 39 wonderful people...

i'm pretty sure i spent a good part of the past two years of my life in this very room...

team b team fabulous. good memories...every wednesday morning. 8:00 am.

closing banquet.

there is no way i would have survived these past two years without the help of these lovely ladies.

i owe a lot to these women. best professors on campus. {not biased at all of course...}

only my favorite g-chatting friend of all time. not sure why it took us so long to realize we were meant to be friends.

one more final to go and i'm officially a college g.r.a.d.u.a.t.e.
real life...here i come.

the job hunt...

i hate nothing more in this world than job hunting. unfortunately that is what i have to do right now...moving back to boise and looking for a summer job before i start my internship.

looking on craigslist i've found some promising prospects...

i did dance team in high school...that counts as "experienced" right?
as i told my mother: desperate times call for desperate measures.

don't be jealous...

but i am going to see him in concert on june 23rd.  pit seats. yes i will most likely be within inches of this beautiful man. accompanied by the sis (mick) and the roommate (ali).

can we just take a moment to talk about how attractive he is? and how manly and wonderful his voice is?...and how in love with him i am? oh chris...

i mean, really. those dimples. tell me he's not the most beautiful man you've ever seen. in a word...smitten.
june. come faster.
